What?s better than technology that you can touch? How about technology that you can drive?
We are thrilled to announce that the 2012 International CES will feature a record number of automotive technology exhibitors. Incredibly, six of the industry?s top tier manufacturers will showcase their latest technologies among CES? enhanced lineup of automotive technology exhibits, TechZones and conference sessions, covering a total of 95,000 net square feet of exhibit space.
Audi, Chrysler, Ford, GM/Onstar, Kia, and Mercedes all will showcase their latest technologies on the CES show floor, highlighting the crossroads of the automotive and electronic industries.
CES is about more than ?traditional? technology products. Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA noted that, ?CES is now the place to experience innovation in the auto industry, including the latest automotive electronics, including both vehicle OEMs and the aftermarket,? Such innovations include tablet integration, Internet radio solutions, in-vehicle apps and driver safety technology, he predicts.
As we announced earlier, Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, will deliver a keynote address, highlighting automotive technology, and helping to represent the expanded automotive presence at this year?s CES.
